Port Orford is the westerly most town in the continental United States and just celebrated it's 150 year anniversary making it the oldest town on the Oregon coast. Also unique to Port Orford is it's Port. Due to the rough seas boats are not parked in the water, rather they are lifted onto trailers and parked on the dock. There is only one other 'dolly dock' in the USA located in southern California.
